  • 8 & U Mixed;
  • 10 & U Boys & 10& U Girls;
  • 12 & U Boys & 12 & U Girls;
  • 14 & U Boys & 14 & U Girls.

Registration & Fees

Total fees:

$30 – TFA (Touch Football Australia)
$30 – QTF (Queensland Touch Football)
$110 – Mackay Touch fee
Plus any Club Fee

All fees must be paid online during registration.
No payments accepted at sign-on day.
Players must be registered and paid before they can play.

Team Numbers

U8 Mixed/Boys/Girls: Minimum 8 players per team, 5 on field
U10–U14: Minimum 10 players per team, 5 on field for U10s
Players can only play in their age group unless approved by MTA.
Boys cannot play in girls-only divisions.

Coaches & Team Officials

Coaches are encouraged to have at least a Foundation Coaching Course (1 day course which will be held at start of season).
A coach or manager with a current Blue Card must be present at each game.
They must sign the team card before the game commences.

Player Eligibility

Players must play at least 3 games in their division to qualify for finals.
Byes and forfeits do not count toward eligibility.

Referees

U14 players are encouraged to become referees.
OPEN players MUST nominate a referee.
Referee pay: $6 for a double game, $10 for a single (must complete Level 1 Referee Course).
A Referee Course will be held at the start of the season.


Game & Conduct Rules

No games during school holidays.
All players must wear:

Matching shirts with numbers
Similar shorts and socks
Proper shoes (no metal tags)

Poor behaviour, swearing, or abuse will not be accepted.
Touch Football Australia’s Code of Conduct applies.
If your team needs to forfeit, please give at least 24 hours' notice.

Finals

Finals will run over three weeks.
